Previously Unavailable, an innovation studio, collaborated with Novii to implement a smart lighting solution for their Grey Lynn studio.

Having taken on the dual roles of client and designer, Previously Unavailble’s objective was to transform their workspace into a captivating environment. With a deep connection to the space, the team crafted a design that resonates with their identity and provides a sense of belonging. The team achieved this through open spaces, warm natural colours and the use of organic finishes such as wood. 

Staying true to the spatial materiality and vision, we introduced a selection of automated light fittings to enhance the overall sense of wellness. This involved implementing Tyke N-Series fixtures in the main workspace, Tyke N-Series fixtures seamlessly integrated into Autex acoustics in the meeting rooms, and track lighting to effectively illuminate the creative work and casual meeting sofa area. The project was thoughtfully designed to achieve best practice office lighting design, incorporating low glare optics, adjustable light level control, and optimal lux levels.
