In a heartwarming collaboration, Novii joined forces with STACK Interiors to light up the Ngāti Whātua office space in Mahuhu Crescent, Auckland CBD. The goal was not just to provide illumination but to create a design that pays tribute to the rich Maori cultural heritage.

To achieve the desired ambiance and cultural significance, Novii carefully selected a range of lights, including fluxxLED profiles, Tyke Linear lights, and Grace Compose down lights. Each light played a crucial role in bringing the vision to life and transforming the office space into a truly special cultural hub.

One of the most striking elements of the lighting design was the arrangement of fluxxLED profiles. These profiles were cleverly positioned to overlap, forming weavings and crosses, symbolising the Ngāti Whātua tri-cross logo. This artistic approach not only paid homage to Maori cultural weavings but also served as a powerful representation of the community’s identity.

The Ngāti Whātua office space stands as a testament to the power of thoughtful lighting design and collaboration. Novii’s dedication to crafting a space that honours Maori cultural weavings, combined with STACK Interiors’ visionary approach, has resulted in a cultural hub that illuminates the heart and soul of the community.
