We’re proud to show off our lighting design collaboration with Ctrl Space at the Drifter Hotel. The hybrid hotel concept is unlike any seen before and a great addition to the Christchurch scene. 

For the rooms, we chose Grace Compose Surface Mounted Downlights and Grace Compose Lens Downlight Reflectors. These fixtures provided warm, ambient lighting that made the hotel feel like a home away from home. By combining direct and ambient light, we were able to highlight the room’s sleek design elements, while offering a relaxing atmosphere for the guests to unwind.

The use of these downlights helped bring depth to the rooms, enhancing the modern yet industrial feel of the space. The lighting design, combined with the high-end fixtures, made sure that guests would feel at ease, whether they were relaxing after a long day or getting ready for an evening out in Christchurch.

With this thoughtful lighting integration, we were able to elevate the overall guest experience and ensure that the Drifter Hotel provides more than just a place to sleep—it becomes a space to truly experience.
