Good design is memorable. Imagine you’re back at primary school – you’re done running around during the lunch break in the atrium. As you lay down right underneath the skylights to bathe in the sunlight, you see what can only be described by your child self as “floating squiggles of light clouds”. And like that, a childhood memory is made.

Novii and the team at Outline Design worked together to deliver a lighting centrepiece for St Kentigern Girls Primary School atrium. The Molto Luce Lash System with its unique flowing curves plays in tune to the organic materiality and soft, warm colours present in space. The shape of the lights also allude to a sense of playfulness and appealing to the children who will be occupying the space.

It was amazing to work with Outline Design and St Kentigerns School to bring unique and meaningful lighting that we hope will be truly memorable for our tamariki.
